Artist statement
I have discovered throughout my life that I was born an actor without knowing it. I couldn't find the meaning of life in the deep solitude of my childhood. My escape was art. Movies offered me a new life, video games led me to uncharted worlds, but all I wanted to be was a lover.
Yes, it's true, I am a lover. I fell deeply into the sensibility of Chloë Grace Moretz, an actress whose being I felt reflected in my own. She inspired me to follow a rocky path that many walk, but few dare to fly. A new me emerges, an actor.
Just as I fell in love with her, in acting, I fell in love with the details in characters, the silence in tension, the deep listening in a relationship, the physical action in pursuit of dreams, the voice that longs to express what a heart feels... what my heart feels. Drawing from the wellspring of movement, I found acting in dance, and it has been my accomplice in the conquest of my great love, acting.
Acting became my lover, my best friend, and every step I have taken with her has brought me closer to who I am; a physical actor in search of the sensitive, to touch the invisible fibers of the unconscious that witness my art, the love that blooms from within and not from outside oneself, an explorer of the psyche of the characters I embody, and I will not rest until I leave my mark on this globe made of sea and land, until I penetrate the unconscious of those whose souls have awakened to sensitivity, until I embrace those lost in the forest of life, and continue to fall in love with the craft of action.
